One Final Contest Note

The paper came out today covering the final round of the vocal competition. I was dreading it. It wasn't too bad, actually, it made me quite teary-eyed. Thanks, again, to everyone who came out...this is for you:

From today's Wednesday Journal article by John Rice:

"No one received more vocal support from the audience than MommyGuilt with her legions of fan screaming 'Tina,' MG took third place with her hand clapping version of 'Son of A Preacher Man."

So you know you're good.

Now know this - people can judge a comeptition based on skill or personality also, both of which are very subjective if everybody is 'good' and top three are often way too close, so that another set of judges might have shuffled them.

Anyway as far as 'really' making it, thats down to the fan base, and I think that report makes it very clear who won on that count :-)
