Twins

Most people who blog about twins would be blogging about their children. I, on the other hand, am blogging about PC & ET, and the really twisted and weird relationship between the three of us. 12/31/04 I married my husband. I got a two-fer. Being married to a twin is a completely different experience than being a parent to twins....about which I will have to tell you later.

We're having a massive family party for all of the birthdays in my family in the last quarter of the year. Needless to say, we've been cleaning nonstop all week, particularly yesterday and today. Today, we sort of sidetracked everything when we decided to pull up the carpet in Girl's room - it had become the cat's litterbox of choice. Fortunately, she has hardwood floors underneath. Also, she hs the smallest room in the house (probably 11 x7 or something lame) which, when it comes to ripping up carpet, is a really good thing!

Now we're just finishing up the massive cleaning of the house, the turpentine removal of the paint drips from the floor (oops), and then we'll begin the cooking. I spent the entire morning in bed, and then some - til about 1:30. I was not feeling well at all, been having a constriction in my lungs for the last few days. I don't think it's sick, I think it's anxiety, to be perfectly honest - lots of crap going on stressing me out....particularly surrounding my house.

I'd best get back to work, it's going to be a long, long, crazy, crazy night. I wanted to make sure I got this post out though. Perhaps one night during the week I'll get to it, or even one day during the week at work - this is our slow season right now. In the meantime, fantasize, have nightmares, post about, whatever, about what it could possibly be like being "married" to twins....and imagine them about as wild and crazy as they come. Oh I can't wait to tell you more. I promise, it's coming. I'll post tomorrow, at some point, probably late in the day after the birthday party's over and all the guests have left and the dishes are done. Enjoy your Saturday night!

Just stoppin' by to say Hi and let you know that I am thinking of you. I hope that the anxiety subsides and you feel healthy, happy, and more relaxed. Love from Alaska to all of you and big hugs too!
